Oily Highlight - Stress Away-

One of my most loved oil blends is Stress Away. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t use it for multiple things. It travels with me, I use it on my 5-year-old, I diffuse it, I use it on myself. 

-Little story – 

We were packing for a little trip, and I was asking my 5 year old if she had everything packed and she proceeded to ask me if I packed “her” oil with the green label on it that “I use when I get upset and need to calm down”. 

Emotions are hard at that age so finding ways to help her know that it’s ok to have those emotions but also here is how we can calm them, has been a blessing. Along with her unicorn roller we use stress away almost daily. Most days I can tell within a few minutes of her waking up what side of the bed she woke up on. She asks almost daily for her oils in the morning. It has really become a part of her life.

When she’s in the middle of a temper tantrum, I’ll drop one drop on her forearm have her rub it in and take deep breaths in calming her down. This works WONDERS.

I use it on myself, if I wake up and can tell I’m agitated and stressed I’ll apply a few drops to my hand and rub my neck, or I drop a few on my forearm and rub in. Within minutes I can feel myself calming down.

The scent of Stress Away is a perfectly subtle scent of vanilla, lime mixed with the floral scent of lavender and earthy scent of cedar wood.

One thing I love about stress away, when diffusing it the way it mixes with other scents is crazy, I didn’t believe it at first but holy cow. My favorite diffuser blend is the Mojito, it smells so crisp and refreshing. But then you can diffuse it at night with lavender and gentle baby to help relax you to sleep.
